I absolutely loved the first film and i was excited to see the next chapter in the universe. I wasnt just pleasantly surprised, i was blown away on just how much this sequel delivers on all the right notes! Its ups the ante in this film and makes the threat seem extremely menacing and a REAL threat. Just like the previous entry in this universe the acting all around was absolutely amazing. These films genuinely have some of rhe best child actors in my opinion because their performances are just as amazing as all the adults involved with this film. This film is definitely much "scarier" and has a creeper tone than the first which i dug! I loved the parts of film where they partially leaned into the Christmas time setting just so they can through the demonic activity right back in your face and have it feel like whiplash! The introduction of the nun was beautiful and i cant wait to watch her spinoffs and learn more about her and i hope warner will bring back that crooked man movie. Overall the movie is great and i would recommend it just as much if not than i would recommend the first.

So i went into this movie assuming that it was overrated and that the movie would be terrible. I watched it was suprised on just how completely AMAZING the movie is! The plot worked so well and i went it aware of the fact that ed & lorriane were real people but it made it so much more interesting and exhilarating. The final act was easily my favorite as it brought everything together into this beautiful resolution leaving extremely exited to see the next chapter in these stories. The actors did so well with the amazing script they were given and to me it seemed like everyone was on the same page with how this movie was going down and they did great! The visuals were stunning and reminded me of the 2019 Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark adaptation. This movie was amazing in every way, no complaints and would recommend it to even horror haters.
