Kidnapping Inc's story rides the delicate line of being funny, nuanced, and sensitive in its approach to a recent and devasting social phenomenom plaguing Haiti.
The acting, plot twist, and production are all excellent. Most surprisingly, the movie showcases a wide variety of settings in Port-au-Prince, providing a more complete picture of the city than the negative images news media insist on showing.
This movie is action-packed, funny, and deep all at once with social commentary on how poverty, corruption, and greed affect all levels of society. The character development and plot get a chef's kiss.
