This season actually started off alright and had some fun moments. But it has been progressively getting worse and worse as it goes on.
The past 2 episodes were excruciating but this was simply unwatchable.
Production values are fine and the entire reboot could have been fun but they apparently have forgotten the concept of plot.

Seriously one of the worst movies ever -terribly miscast and the director forgot that stage and screen are different mediums and what's magic on stage is trite on screen.
BUT
that being said...
It is one of the most watchable movies ever, if even simply for the cringeworthiness of the miscast cast "singing".
Meryl is an amazing straight woman but why anyone can think she's a comic actor or a singer is simply mind-blowing. She horrendous every single time . (See Postcards From The Edge for another cringeworthy example.)
The production and set design plus the cinematography are what make the movie. They've created a world you love spending time in (if only you could get Meryl and Remington/Bond to shut up!!)

Hello bambino's! Okay, here's What You Need To Know about Friday Night Dinner:
Series 1, 2, 3 and 5 are brilliant -British farce at its absolute best!!
This is a show about family and the dynamics which tend to be universal. Add in brilliant chemistry, timing and humour -what more could you want?
It's also a show that gets better and better with each viewing. You notice different moments each time, plus you're in on the running gags and they become that much funnier.
Kindly skip 4 and 6 -the magic just isn't there. But The Dress? The Fox? Christmas? Lord Luck? All absolute classics.
So bring on the lovely bit of squirrel and tuck in!
