Yes, I love this game without a doubt. You know damn well that intro sequence felt so damn good to watch, this is also the first Sonic game to have Data select which is a great mechanic, THEN TAILS CAN HAVE HIS FLYING CONTROLLED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A 16-BIT GAME, It's not just that. Sonic controls very well, When you play as Sonic and Tails, I'll have you know that's the best damn way to play the game along with the story probably being the best, the level design is my favorite here and the blue sphere stages are way better than Sonic 2 in my opinion. I LOVE THE BOSSFIGHTS, except lava reef, the worst level is Sandopolis act 2. It's waaay too slow, but that doesn't affect the score, 10/10 game! PLAY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! And I'm gonna say it again, THAT SOUNDTRACK SLAPS HARDER THAN ANYTHING EVER.

I almost gave this a 6/10 which makes it meh, but It's a decent game. Now you guys need to hear me out, The OST does slap harder than a father on report card day, There is decent level design and the special stages are good, But Sonic is WAY TOO floaty! Sonic moves like he's on ice, and there's an ice level in this game, I get all 7 emeralds and Sonic doesn't go super, I have to keep finding flickies until Panic puppet act 1, once you get to act 2 you stop but genuinely I hate the controls but overall it's decent despite my complaints, the 7 chaos emeralds thing is my main problem, seriously, kinda blows.

I think this is a good game, it's slightly better than Sonic 1, the pacing is better, I like Sonic being able to peel out, I definitely like the soundtrack and the music slaps hard in the Japanese soundtrack, I especially like Stardust speedway (though I think Palmtree panic or Collision chaos are better), the problems with this game are in the special stages I should've hit a UFO but then it's like it goes right through Sonic and not to mention his turn speed is slow, and when you go into the water, the timer drains quickly, really? And I despise wacky workbench, too much bouncing but over all Solid game!
