This is such a fantastic movie. We watched another title by the same production team first and thoroughly enjoyed it, so we wanted to watch this one. While their other film that we rented on Amazon Prime was a dramatic film, THE PROMISE is a much lighter story (a romantic comedy) that will have you in stitches and laughing-out-loud. It's all about family, finding love and keeping promises. Those are some things we can all relate to.

We enjoyed this film very much. The writing, the cinematography, the musical scores, the acting.... it was all just fantastic, very realistic and just a really fun watch. It's rare to find a film nowadays that does not contain violence, sex or nudity but this film did NOT have any of those elements and that's why it was so enjoyable to watch as a family. SEE IT!!

This is such a fantastic movie. Not too long, at just 47 minutes. We enjoyed everything about it: the writing, the cinematography, the musical scores, the acting. It was all just fantastic. The subject matter was serious (dealing with mental illness and even suicide) but the film had some comedic moments in it as well, which was appreciated to lighten the mood a bit but still keeping with the seriousness of the film.

This film is available on Amazon Prime which is where we watched and we do highly recommend it. As I said above, it's a short watch at just 47 minutes long. So you cannot use the excuse that you don't have time to watch a two hour movie or that you have a short attention span. See it if you can, especially if you know anyone who suffers from mental illness of any kind or know anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide.

WOW, another fantastic movie by Dreams Come True Films. This one, like the other two we have seen is streaming on Amazon Prime. It tells the scary and very real story of parents struggling to put one foot in front of the other on a daily basis after their little girl Kimberly is taken by a stranger in broad daylight when she is at a garage sale with her mother Carla, played absolutely brilliantly by award winning actress (Caitlin Smith). This woman can act! There is one particular scene when she is lying in a hospital bed and has a complete meltdown. Even this old Marine got a little teary eyed at this point. Her acting was that powerful and believable.

All of the lead actors did a terrific job. The cinematography and the directing were wonderful. The writing was brilliant. The scores were great, as with their other films we saw (also on Prime Video). Folks, there is a very real danger out there in the world today. I suppose it has always been out there, but it is made so much worse today with social media and all the technology available to criminals and deviants. The message of this story is to keep a close eye on your children and grandchildren at all times, for they can be snatched away from you in a matter of seconds and your world will forever be turned upside down.
