The film lacks logic, especially with its unrealistic ending, forcing the audience into a dark worldview. It resembles how Hitler made his enemies believe the world was evil and violence was necessary.
The movie implies revenge is needed to regain humanity, yet the world isn't simply good vs. Evil, nor ruled by bad people. If that were true, how did great empires collapse instead of surviving? Moreover, the romance is just chemistry without real commitment.
"If Jeyi prayed to God, why hasn't she asked for freedom from her father's oppression instead?"
Jeyi love for Seugi is deeply passionate, but if she hadn't sold drug, her lover likely wouldn't have been stabbed by a drug-addicted friend. Also, if Jeyi had knew more about medical knowledge, she might have use a safer method - like helping Seugi throw up-to eliminate the ingested substance, rather than performing an external incision.
Children should not watch this film as it promotes violence, which can lead to increased aggression.

Sometimes, the most profound experiences are the ones that resonate on a personal level, leaving a lasting impression long after the credits roll.
The film is gentle, relatable, and realistic, much like our everyday lives. In an era dominated by sharp cinematic techniques and thrilling fantasies, this movie might seem plain and quickly become tiresome. However, to me, it is rich in psychological and human flavors. The subtlety of each character moves me just enough. Sometimes, pain exaggerates a person's memories; sometimes, separation teaches us life lessons that help us rise above ourselves and make changes.
Without dramatic peaks, lingering tears, or intense tension, life is like that. It's not just for entertainment or to satisfy your curiosity; it is a lesson for those who understand their own psychology. The film reflects this essence beautifully, making it a poignant watch for those who appreciate the subtleties of human emotions and relationships.
