Something about all four episodes has felt somewhat lacking. Now don't get me wrong, this show has the potential to be great and have that spooky and mysterious vibe that WandaVision had (one of my favourite marvel shows) but the characters fall flat and the visuals are surprisingly underwhelming for a marvel show.
In my opinion, all the characters became like best friends way too quickly, Agatha sometimes acts way too childish and ridiculous for no apparent reason, and there's no tension. This show would be absolutely amazing if the backstories and depth of the characters had more TENSION.
Secondly, despite having a setting with stunning visuals, there's no movement to their spell casting. There's no sparks, visual effects, or hand movements (Wanda was the queen of hand movements), there's not even a change in voice. Instead of being a cool spell, they sound like they're speaking absolute gibberish with no intention. I don't think it's the fault of the actors either. There simply should've been some post production to make the scenes more dynamic and interesting.
I still enjoy some of the aspects of this show and I think the acting is pretty good (most of the time) but I find myself wanting more that I'm not getting. I'm still holding out hope but for now it's 3.5 stars.
