I watched this film on a flight to Latin America and was immediately captivated by Angela Molina's portrayal of Charlotte, an aging ex-star. Her nuanced performance adds a layer of emotional complexity, grounding the film in a deep sense of melancholy and nostalgia. The plot itself is relatively simple, more of a meandering road movie, but that's part of its charm. The film thrives on atmosphere-rich visuals, lingering shots, and quiet moments of reflection. It's a deeply poetic and meditative exploration of fame, aging, and identity, beautifully balancing subtlety and emotion. A truly poetic experience.
