The Cutie Map Part Two is a great episode, but falls behind from it's predecessor for a somewhat major reason.
The opening is wonderful, Starlight's talking on the speaker to manipulate the Mane Six (who are now in a small home after their Cutie Marks where taken at the end of the Part One) by saying something along the lines of "You can only be truly happy without your Cutie Mark." and stuff like that. The Little touch of the windows being placed to make the light resemble a equal symbol is nice too.
Fluttershy being the one to investigate the town makes sense, because she said that she thought the town was quite lovely, and Starlight's reveal that she still had her Cutie mark had build up, so it didn't feel like they made that plot twist for plot.
However the one somewhat major flaw is the pacing, which went downhill from the first part. It literally went from "How do we get the other pony's Cutie Marks back?" to "We need to stop Starlight!" in like ten minutes. I feel like it will better paced if it was a three part (The second part can be the Mane Six exploring the town and talking to some of the cult members after they lose their Cutie Marks.) But since a three part episode never happened in the shows run. It has a higher rating then a 6 or 7.
In conclusion, The Cutie Map Part Two is a great second part, but is lower then Part One because of the quick pacing.

The Cutie Map part one is my favorite season premiere episode and favorites in MLP:FIM, which I sadly looked over when I was younger.
The passing is great, fully fleshing out the plot within 19/20 minutes. The concept is unique and mature for the show. The idea of the cutie map sending certain pony's to friendship quests was cool, and I wish there were a few more episodes involving it.
Starlight's introduction is strong and gives subtle enough hints that she still has her Cutie Mark on. (Still wild that a cult leader got redeemed and a child who has properly been brainwashed or manipulated get turned into stone.) Pre-redemption Starlight is also a major inspiration for one of my oc's.
In conclusion, The Cutie Map Part one is a great episode in my opinion, with a unique concept, interesting new characters, and a dark plot and message when you only realize when your older.
