Wow that was so painfully pedestrian, predictable and boring. It's every film we've seen in this genre, but with all the cliched overused boring parts. Even with fairly decent pacing, the normally quick runtime of 99 mins felt like I was watching this for almost 3 hours. Just a bunch of blah blah nonsense dialogue and long dragged out extended scenes thrown in with the occasional decent action choreography. I'm a big fan of KB but she deserves much better than this, as do mostly all the other cast, who tried their best with the horrible screenplay they had to work with. Both the writer and director need to find new hobbies, as filmmaking is not one of them. A very generous 5/10 for decent cast performances and what little action there was.
Great acting, horrible filmmaking. I mean what a convoluted mess with so many plot and technical issues. My big complaint is who's related to who in what way and how and what business side are they on?
Writer and director John-Michael Powell had good intentions, and was only sucessfull in directing his cast properly, as all actors performances were excellent. But telling the story via screenplay and directing was a huge failure. It was overly frustrating trying to keep up with who's who and what role do they play. Such a missed opportunity had a little more effort gone into the filmmaking.
It's a generous 5/10 all going to the cast.

Even going into this I was expecting a B-grade movie, and as a fan of Lundgren and M. J. White, I figured it'd still be somewhat watchable, but man I was wrong.
Yes, Lundgren and M. J. White pulled their own weight as they usually do, but Scott Martin was just cringe to watch and listen to with such horrible acting and even worse dialogue. And no way he was even a littler bit convincing as a hitman let alone and kind of action guy.
But even worse was the horrible directing by Shane Dax Taylor, who clearly also failed to direct his cast effectively, but even more worse than the directing, was the ridiculous nonsense writer Chad Law put together in this screenplay. Every terrible cliche was in this movie. And a 5th grader can come up with better dialogue for the actors than most of the cringe eyeroll verbal diarrha that was said. I mean how does any writer with 27+ writing credits come up with such boring, cliched and convoluted nonsense? Even the very short 84 min runtime felt endless with the long dragged out and mostly pointless scenes, slow pacing and choppy editing.
Law, Taylor and Martin need to find new hobbies, as filmmaking/acting is not one of them.
It's a very generous 3/10 only out of symathy for Lundgren and M. J. White having to work with such nonsense they were given.
