An average giallo that is not the best neither the worst. It ends up being a police and suspect chase whereas the best genre titles tend to focus on investigators, this specific title does not. Leaving the police shadowed by the main characters broke the tension for me.
The plot raises many questions, many of them, however, were not really important for the story. They were king on unnecessary. It ends up happening a lot, for what felt to be for "to little".
As others reviews stated, there was a lack of psychological and sexual troubles as a whole. The madness was lacking. Well, at least the over the top sexual madness.
But as a whole, it was a good flick indeed.

Very good movie and setting. Something is always happening since many characters are involved in the plot. Great villain, actually Richard is the one who should be highlighted in the story, rather than the paranormal man or the two priests.
The director really had a plot going on here, it was not some mindless killing, which is not bad but sometimes it gets me a little fed up. It all comes down to trying to solve the muders of the two princes. In the end of the movie, when the plot had nowhere to go anymore, well, I liked what the writter did there.
Some violence here and there should mess things up for someone, but it really does not compromises the experience.
