Besides the fact that you may wonder whether it is decent to make a film about a serial killer who has destroyed many lives, let's assume that anything goes in the name of art, this is a very simple Hollywood film. The film looks nice, but other than that there is nothing behind the facade. Perhaps just as there is nothing behind Rodney Alcala. Serial killers remain intriguing, even though that may not be right. They are completely insane and the only question is how this could have happened. Bad childhood? Genes? A combination of these two? But that's not what this movie is about.
Flashbacks show how unscrupulously Alcala acts. He ends up on a dating show with Anna Kendrick.... Almost nothing happens. The movie is over in no time, also because you think something is going to happen. A waste of talent because Kendrick and Zovatto can really act.
So...or they should have made it into an exciting film, which, just like now, plays with the truth, or made something like the series The Assassination of Gianni Versace. That series is highly recommended by the way.

Negatives: - too young protagonists. I found it unbelievable that these young people working in a mining colony could just fly spaceships. - although the film takes its time to introduce the characters, I mainly remember Andy and the leading actress (whose name I can't remember anymore) -it is not original, the film takes what works from Alien and Aliens -a bit too much explanation. The film would have worked without Rooks
The good -the acting is sufficient -the emotion between the lead actress and Andy is believable - the film is exciting although it is a bit too redundant and gross at the end, but the film does not feel too long -the female lead is just a girl and not a mary sue or woke.
A good 7. Definitely a nice film for the cinema.

A romantic comedy actually stands or falls with the acting performances of the duo in question and their chemistry. I didn't feel the chemistry. What I remember about Sweeney are her breasts, which are prominently displayed from the start. Glenn Powell is way too smooth. In any case, everything in this film is too smooth. The environment and the actors are too beautiful. I like romantic comedies, but with some realism so that I also feel like I can be the protagonist. And because all the events are too cliché, there was nothing left for me to enjoy. In any case, over the past 10 years, too-good-looking people have been thrown into films. Being attractive to the camera is one thing, but it can also be too much. Conclusion is that this is a very mediocre film. And I do not understand why Sweeney is apparently an new star. The biggest stars on her are not her acting skills.
