Never enjoyed watching a movie in theatre since RRR & KGF! If you think Yash's KGF is the School of Revenge, then Allu's Pushpa is the Deemed University. He owns every frame. Just the kind of movie you live on screen while connecting to the family emotions. Power & Politics are the cherries on the cake. The Cat & Mouse game of Pushpa & Shekhawat is entertaining in the best possible way. And above all, the cliffhanger at the very climax gives you goosebumps. The Button to Explode The Bomb Planted at the last scene opened a new chapter in such a thrilling way. Can't wait to see Pushpa: The Rampage. Allu is the undisputed new angry young man after Amitabh Bachchan for Indian Cinema!
Look at the budget scale & starcast. You'll get goosebumps. But, when this movie was halfway, I felt as if I am reading a Raj Comics. Such poor script. Honestly, how dumb is The Producer! You can't blindly believe the starcast these days when Masala Movie works only when it is supported by a substantial script. But, in this case, Rohit Shetty looks like just an action director and that too not seen anywhere. Where is the RRR Type Action? Not even 1%. Just looks like a Light Show of Ramayan. Trying to capitalise on the Shree Ram Sentiment will not work. Vimal Gutka Kings comparing them to the epitome of righteousness Shree Ram is ridiculous. Public should boycott such money minded films right away.
When the cartoon show opened the sequel showing Arthur The Joker impersonated by his shadow to take the stage and getting brutally thrashed by Police filling the screen with blood to show the title of the sequel, I got goosebumps. But, soon after the story revealed and it was actually looking freezed for adding literally nothing new to Joker, I got pissed. Lady Gaga is just a showpiece in this. No background story of her. What she tells to Arthur is also admitted as a lie by herself. Obviously, this movie that shows The Joker put in trial after the court should have a good argument from Prosecution & Defence. Sadly, this one fails too. Watch this only for Phoenix who has acted well, but provided with a story way below The Joker legacy. This sequel is like a coffin for that Masterpiece Original JOKER. I wish I had never seen this one as it took away the admiration I'd for JOKER to a great extent. If you want to try this, please leave any expectations based on the original. It is good for nothing.
