Haters giving a 1-star rating to a 10/10 episode... seriously?
This episode was incredible - a brilliant adaptation of the novel. The animation was stunning, the atmosphere was on point, and Lord of Mysteries keeps finding new ways to impress. This one truly deserves a much higher rating.
This story has become a major milestone in anime, and this episode was fantastic from start to finish. It definitely deserves more love.

This is one of the best episodes I've ever seen, with an amazing beginning and end. The messages and philosophy of the episode are very good.
When Araragi saves Ougi he is saving himself, because even though Ougi is his evil shadow, he doesn't let her go, he is accepting himself.
The Shinobu scene is fantastic, the whole dynamic between Araragi and Shinobu was very well done, the development of these two was incredible, and with fabulous art in the scene, perfect.
This episode was amazing from start to finish, being a great conclusion to this monogatari story.
10/10. Monogatari is Peak....
