I enjoyed the film. Killer Campout 2 did not let me down, it provided the comedic moments and all the blood and gore I could have asked for in a slasher style film. I enjoyed the story and the characters development. Good job! The talent did a very good job, they made it seem believable and the campers lives being so chaotic and hoping to find peace and a refreshing start to a new chapter in life takes a quick turn for the worst. And that's what I love about the film. You have hope for them, you want them to succeed. But it's a horror movie so you kind of also want them to die, lol. I feel there were moments you connect with the characters individually and some movies don't allow that, so that was nice! Good overall 80s style horror flick.
I enjoyed this low budget indie horror film. The gore and effects were actually done pretty well considering it was an indie film. There were some characters who were memorable and I enjoyed watching, while other actors did not keep my attention. Frankie and Finn were my favorite, I was happy to watch their journey through the film.
This is a very campy, cheesy and wild film. If you are looking for a Hollywood budget horror production please walk away, this is not for you. If you enjoy a low budget film, practical effects lots of blood and gore and a few memorable moments...then this one is for you! It is definitely more of a comedy film that is for sure, while it is categorized as a horror comedy, due to the focus being a raccoon who is all cracked out and attacking everyone in its sight, the dialogue and banter back and forth between the actors is very funny. There are some quick comebacks and puns throughout the film that made me laugh.
The one who stood out most to me was Frankie, his level of comedy and timing was unmatched, he had a comeback for everything! He was over the top dramatic and flamboyant and raised the bar. The fact he was running around and away from this raccoon through most of the film is what had me on tears... The relationship and interaction Frankie has with Denny was memorable. They did not seem like drug dealers, which made it even more funny to watch and see the dynamic of their relationship and shenanigans unfold.
