BRRRRRT-And DIE!!!
The build-up was great-I almost saw potential. But, as they aimed for chaos, the only trail the Monkey left was a mess. Treading into nonsensical territory is a dangerous game. Annabelle can meet Final Destination, but oil does not mix with water.
There was nothing remarkable about the acting, nor the cinematography. The music did not resonate volumes for itself either. Most of the film was just lacking. It was mildly unsettling-the way deaths were presented so casually. It was creative, but that's a given, considering that is the only happening throughout the movie-no plot to drive around.
The ending was really disappointing. If you have read all those children's comic strips about how the good guys turn the bad guys into good guys with their righteous piece of advice, you'd get what I mean.
Just meh. Don't watch it unless you think the other turn-your-brain-off movies are not turn-your-brain-off enough and you are seriously unemployed.

Sam Wilson does not sit well with me as a good Captain-heck, he barely does as one at all. The movie was very bland. The action sequences felt uninteresting, the direction was nothing exceptional, and just as I was about to appreciate the script at one point, a cringe-fest stole that too. And there is forced comedy? Eager beaver motivational speech snippets?
There is a lot of premise from the previous movies. But, this just was not working. The story was weak. The antagonist's actions were laughable. I watched Dora and the Lost City of Gold recently and it had more mystery element. The Red Hulk is probably more prominent in the poster than in the entire movie. The end did not feel justified and was rather rushed. There is too much thrown in at once, too many hints, too many shards of possibility-but none sufficient or coherent to foster well. Post-credits scene: Meh.
Possibly my least favourite Cap movie, if this even counts, that is.

This one came to the OTT platform quite fast. The making of Thudarum was unnecessarily lengthy, with fillers that served no purpose than to extend the run-time. The film crawled at a slow pace until the intermission, after which the trajectory becomes too predictable as it turns into nothing more than a classic revenge story. All the build-up? Meh. I barely felt connected to any of the characters, or cared for them at all.
However, the direction, the cinematography and the soundtrack are commendable. Mohanlal as Benz, Prakash Varma as CI George, and Binu Pappu as SI Benny are some of the best performances in recent Mollywood. This one is worth a watch for sure-but I reckon just once.
