A period K-drama based on the fictitious story of Queen Woo, who, after the death of her husband, the King, must do everything possible to protect herself as well as the kingdom from falling into the wrong hands.
The 8 part series, while maintaining its gripping storyline, shows minor plots similar to Bahubali as well as Shogun. While some critics have described the series as "filthy" because of the amount of skin shown, the series could bring a lot more only if it continues for another season. Although the show could be said to have concluded, but then one might think- all this build up just for this!

From the makers of "Bard of Blood" comes yet another masterpiece. This 9 part series, set in the same tone, covers the valor of the airmen of the United States during the second world war. A very admirable aspect of this series is the fact that they've gloriously shown not only the pilots but also the crewmen who made it possible for them to fly. The viewers get a visual delight when formations of the flying fortress encounter an extraordinary amount of flak. From paying attention to minute details such as the damage on the mainframe to showing a secret of the war- the Norden bombsight to giving a near ASMR experience of the peculiar engine sounds of the aircrafts. It is hands down binge-worthy for those who like action with historical significance.
A successful photographer returns to her hometown after certain events turn against her. With nothing more to lose, she joins her old friends and family with whom she hadn't been in contact for ages. It is a K-drama, there has to be an unrequited romantic partner as well.
Besides the aesthetics of the Jeju island's Samdal village, the fact the series is just 16 episodes long, makes it even more worth binging. Light comedy, cheerful, entertaining and very little villainous plot. On a personal note, the rural areas of Southeast-Asian countries appear far more appealing to me compared to the areas full of fast cars and sky-high buildings. Clear water, greenery, majestic skies- a near perfect place! Truly, to have a place to return is a relief.
