  • It's a pretty fun game once you get the hang of it

This is a Sonic the Hedgehog pinball game. It gets pretty addictive. The goals are difficult enough, and they require lots of aiming the flippers in the right way. Once you get the hang of it, it's really fun to play. There is a problem with it, though. It lacks the smoothly animated graphics of the Sonic platformer games, and Sonic's look has been changed. The sounds are also different, and duller-sounding. Maybe this is because it was produced by Sega of America instead of Sega of Japan. Sega of Japan produced the Sonic the Hedgehog platforming games. All in all, though, it's a good game, and will keep you playing for hours on end.

  • An extremely streamlined and awesome game for the Xbox

This is currently the best game I have for Xbox, even better than Halo (and Halo 2). Team Ninja has taken control of the full graphical power of the Xbox, and recreated the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 game with even more options and costumes. The characters are startlingly lifelike, with extremely fluid movements to match. The female characters are irresistibly sexy, and um...the storyline is very interesting as well. ;) It's not your normal fighting game. It is immersed in a dramatic and far-reaching story which connects the characters together. There are even cinematics that are shown between battles in "Story" mode, which elaborate on the specific character's past experiences.

  • It may have been revolutionary, but that doesn't make it a great game

This game was produced for Game Boy Color, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64. I am reviewing the N64 and PSX versions. It's a game where you can play as your favorite professional skaters. That doesn't save this game from its annoying corniness, though. It may have Minneapolis in it, (close to where I live) but there are no manuals, hugely pixellated graphics, and the control is extremely hard; i.e. if you don't land perfectly, you collapse. It gets better every time there is a new game in the series, so I guess they had to start somewhere, but I think they could have upped the bar just a little bit. All the voices sound the same, except for Elissa Steamer. All the other characters just have the generic "male voice" plugged into them. This is the same on all of the PS1 versions. On the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube releases of THPS3 and 4, each character has his/her own voice. Well, overall 3/5.
