I'd rate this a 7.5 if I could. This was actually a pretty good movie, which took me for surprise. Normally when things are 6.5 on IMDb they're meh to me but this movie was better than I thought. It's definitely a thriller and addresses mature themes, mainly sexual assault, rape, and trauma. Some of the characters are really really messed up and we see an extreme scenario that showcases power in the context of sex.
None of the sexual material is super graphic, and it's kept to a bare minimum.
The cinematography is outstanding and the camera work is well done. The acting isn't THE best but it's still pretty good. In terms of the lowlights, there are just a couple moments where you're kind of confused, like where they don't answer a pressing question you have. For instance, they didn't explain to us why Slater turned out the way he did. They hinted at it, but I would have appreciated an explicit explanation.
Overall, would recommend a watch!

Loved this show. It's just a good watch. The plot might seem cliché but it unexpectedly surprised me with the depth they managed to put in this show. It explores the experience of old age via exploration of many issues related to it like loneliness, friendships, grief/loss, death, and dementia. I was incredibly impressed they managed to balance the humor of solving the case and the seriousness of these heavier topics.
Besides that, the characters are super likable and the episodes are on the shorter side so it's a pretty easy watch. The acting is pretty good, they capture cringe comedy well (in a good way). You could watch this as a family with older kids (tween and above).
I'm honestly pretty excited for the next season, one of a kind show for sure. You should give it a watch!

This was a fun movie and it's pretty pleasant visually with all the bright colors and eccentric architecture. I would not say this is a kid's movie as the social commentary is incredibly strong, as many reviewers have stated.
Satires are of course dramatic but I feel like this movie was laying it on heavy in not a good way. It was more preachy than integrated in the plot itself which made many of the "speeches" incredibly cringy to watch.
This movie isn't all bad though, I'd say that there were quite a few positive things such as the acting, the feel-good vibes, and it presented an overall good commentary of patriarchy and feminism. Overall, I would recommend at least one watch, it's quite unique.
