I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this film. While the plot is quite predictable and I haven't read the book it's based on, the overall experience still managed to leave an impression. There are no flashy visual effects or CGI just raw, grounded performances, relying heavily on what seems like pure improvisation from the actors. It genuinely feels like the film was made on a shoestring budget, and yet they did a commendable job with what little they had. For that reason, I'm choosing to withhold any harsh criticism. In fact, I'll be rating this higher than I normally would, simply because they came remarkably close to pulling it off with $10 budget. Hopefully, the lead actor will get the chance to be part of larger, more ambitious productions in the near future.
This is the best series I've seen in recent years probably the best of the past decade. Everything about it feels carefully crafted and thoughtfully executed. The cast is outstanding, with a diverse mix of races, genders, and backgrounds, and it's all handled in a mature, authentic way that never feels forced or performative. Every actor brings something unique to the table, and the chemistry between them makes the world feel real and lived in.
The cinematography is beautiful, with striking camera work that enhances both the emotional and action heavy moments. The soundtrack fits perfectly adding depth and atmosphere without overwhelming the scenes. The humor is sharp and well timed offering just the right amount of levity without undercutting the serious parts.
The plot is engaging well-paced and full of surprising but believable twists. Nothing feels lazy or thrown in for shock value. It's clear the writers trusted the intelligence of the audience and respected the story they were telling.
It's very rare for me not to find at least one thing to nitpick, but in this case I genuinely don't have a single major complaint. It struck the perfect balance between entertainment and substance. I highly recommend it, especially for viewers over 30 who appreciate smart storytelling and emotional depth. It's pretty much a masterpiece.

It's horrendous, with a predictable plot and an even worse lead actor. Basically, the movie tries to portray criminals as victims and working class people as evil overlords. I'm not a diehard Iron Man fan but I can clearly see why people would consider this film a travesty... and rightfully so. Imagine buying posters and figurines and then this movie comes out. There's not much to say about the film other than the CGI and music were alright, and it was somewhat watchable if you've already run through all the good series and movies available. If this had come from another studio I might have rated it higher since there are worse films with 7+ ratings but that's not the case here. This could easily mark the end of Marvel Studios.
