This movie can be very aggregating... If you watch it the wrong way. Usually, you want horror movies to be scary and quite serious. Halloween Kills walks the line between trying to be intense but at the same time, it doesn't take itself too seriously.
At least that is the conclusion I reached when I watched a man exchange a perfectly good golf club for an actual letter opener with the knowledge in mind that his house was broken into.
Micheal Myers who (guess what) survived a gas explosion and walked through a burning house is a Magnum Opus of a killing machine. He a DEVELOPMENTALLY STUNNED, possibly HANDICAPPED and MUTE person who spend most of his life in prison can out-think everyone in the entire town.
There is a scene where someone is told: "Don't go looking for Micheal Myers he is going to come here. I know for sure." and is quick to reply "He MuSt bE KiLleD iM GoInG oUtSidE AfTer HiM!"
Also literally LITERALLY every person equipped with a firearm of any kind of course is incapable of using the advantage of distance and goes in close to cuddle with Mikey.
In addition, nobody seems to notice that everybody who is able to use his legs in a manner where if you put one in front of the other very fast and do this thing called "taking a brisk jog" basically becomes impossible to be killed by Michael. (Of course for any inhabitants of Haddonfield I might add: to do this motion away from the bloody man with a knife who killed your friends)
Very Good Movie. 7/10 If you don't take it seriously you WILL have a good time.

Some actors are known for acting with their face. They are know for being able to portray whole stories through their facial expressions. Some actors are know for acting mainly with their eyes or mouth. The main actress of this movie decided to aproach acting with exlusive usage of her lower jaw. She was probably inspired by Marlon Brando in "the Godfather" but it wasnt quite as fitting in this movie.
Some of the acting felt pretty weird.
Cheesy lines were pretty funny though and most of the intentional laughs hit pretty well.
The Horror aspect was kinda "aight" but to reliant on loud sound effects like the viewer doesnt have the ability to see whats going on on-screen.
Some plotpoints we're a little far-fetched or didnt make sense at all.
I enjoyed the watch but it could have been better.
