The outstanding star of this drama is Ahsan Khan who really caught me off guard with his performance. I always thought of him as a pretty face and did not know he was able to pull off acting of this caliber! Urwa Hocane also acts well as the "gaon ki ladki" and of course the legendary Bushra Ansari is a chameleon as always. The plot keeps viewers interested but more than that, this drama brings serious awareness to a topic that is not often touched upon in our culture.
The star of this drama through and through is Imran Ashraf. His portrayal of the mentally challenged Bhola is Oscar worthy. I have not seen such brilliant acting in a long time.
Iqra Aziz (Noori) also shines in her role. Without her and Imran Ashraf this drama would be nothing. Both have acted outstandingly well. The plot keeps viewers on edge, but more so because we look forward to every scene that includes these two. Definitely a drama worth watching and with a powerful message as well.
