Connecting the audience again with a 35 years old cult film is a hard thing. First of all, BR 2049 is an amazing movie to overcome that. Production is very consistent with the original, personally I felt that immediately I was in the same universe again(after all that time).
Harrison Ford part was designed very classy, Rick Deckard involvement to the story is convincing and seems natural.
Cinematography and visual effects were amazing. Movie makes the viewer to appreciate its visuals most of the scenes. It's is a joy to my eyes.
Shortly, well done Denis Villeneuve, well done sir.

A movie from Sarajevo but image can be any old socialist city. Story is even valid for wider, every working class hero can found some aspects.
Lead character is very naive, soft, passive towards many situations. Virtues of main character cause many troubles and harms him. Lack of power, self-respect and masculanity determines situations with others.
Questions will occur in viewers mind, what is right or wrong, moral or immoral.
How can you not give credit to a science fiction movie made in 1982 but still can be watched 2021 ? Ridley Scott's cult cyberpunk set the bar so high and so early. You can see traces of Blade Runner in many modern sci-fi production.
