My favorite film critics . . .
1) John Mulderig
2) Gene Siskel
3) Roger Ebert (I attended two semesters of his adult education classes in Chicago)

I watched a lot of movies from high school until meeting my wife as I went to the show with my buddies.

I enjoy theater, too. I subscribed to three different theaters back in my Chicago days. I performed in plays and supported theater as part of the crew during that time. In three of the plays they even honored me with the lead part!

I dabbed in TV as a volunteer for a few community shows and finally took the plunge to create my own show. You can see the archive, PatChatsAbout.com, showing all 95 episodes of my former TV show at Access Tucson recorded from January 11, 2008 thru May 16, 2015.

Pat Chats About . . . anything that educates or entertains, conducted in a civil tone with mutual respect. A scintillating TV talk show on Access Tucson public access television.

I host/produce/direct a family-type talk show on a variety of subjects. I take a relaxed, gentle approach with guests. Never using ambush tactics.

Even though I need to produce, host, direct my show, and deliver it without post-production work - - I create enjoyable conversations.

Look at the first visit with each politician I interviewed and you can see I begin by showing the wide variety of beginnings each came from as a way to show candidates come from all walks of life. I try to dig into the process to show them how they can do the same thing. Ordinary people running for office and becoming public servants helps our country.

  • Regardless of your political point of view, I doubt you find this movie valuable.

A waste of time "documentary" as it avoids interviewing experts and including rare footage. Instead, it edits and combines cable TV shows covering and responding to the 2016 election. The clips of President Trump only include him reading his rare "presidential" speeches from a teleprompter as a way to alleviate any concerns about his presidency. The narrator fails to add any insights, instead describing President Trump with his campaign's talking points.

  • clarity on the cause of the problem

Mostly from the book "Saving Capitalism - For the Many, Not the Few" by Robert Reich where he makes it so clear the problem comes from the politicians, not from capitalism. Not nearly as good as the book, but still valuable short version.
