I wonder how much David Corenswet was paid for this role cause he embodied superman so perfectly, couldn't take my eyes off. Fell in love with this superman and rooted for him within minutes the movie started. Rachel Brosnahan did justice to the iconic character of Lois Lane. This is what happens when a good actress is given a good script. Honestly although I liked DCEU, I feel so bad for Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. These good actor's talent was wasted on a rather underwhelming plot. Then Nicholas Hoult, there's nothing to tell about him. He has always been so great, so is in this.
This is the revival of DC. I am hoping for the next movie and this is not only me. Heard it from so many people in the movie hall before leaving. After a long while kept smiling after watching a movie.

Just lazy writing and bad execution. It didn't feel like the world they've built for 5 seasons. The writers didn't seem to know what went on before and made up stories like just that. Too many plot holes and talking your way out while it seemed super restricted and violent place. I had to shake my head in disbelief that they ruined this series just like that. Unforgiving characters given redemption arc for face value I guess while well rounded character built up for a decade is trashed within the span of 3 episodes. The easy travel through Gilead was ridiculous and June's self righteous syndrome is pathetic. Not going to watch the testament. Really bad.
After devoting and loving this series for 10 years, all I have is disappointment. It's almost comical how strangely different this season is compared to the rest of the series. The actions are comical, the feared roads seem completely okay to come and go, the fights and sequences are badly choreographed. Monsters are given redemption whilst well established characters are tried to turn villainous just to serve " no love " perception. The Handmaid's Tale I used to watch were never this short sighted, straight cut story. It was dark, tragic yet powerful. I'll think this atrocious season never happened.
