Chernobyl is a splendid HBO mini series, with five subtle episodes. Based upon true horrific incidents of the infamous 1986 disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Chernobyl each episode is Fully loaded, with no diluting. Every cinematic aspect has been consummately performed whether it is cinematography, casting, dialogue writing or dilivery, screenplay or background score every aspect is just splendid.
Main Cast Jared Harris as Valery Legasov key member of the government commission created to investigate the causes of Chernobyl and to plan the mitigation of its consequences. Stellan Skarsgard as Boris Shcherbina plays Deputy Prime Minister who was in charge of dealing with the Chernobyl disaster outcome. Adam Nagaitis plays firefighter Vasil Ihnacienka, who was just 25 when he died of radiation poisoning after being one of the first to respond to the fire at the Chernobyl plant on April 26.
Chernobyl mini series is a dramatic true incident based based drama. Hauntingly backbone chilling background score by Icelandic composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, which was being created using sound recordings from an actual nuclear power plant. Brilliantly colour grading and tone of camera, angle movement in cinematography. Marvelous screenplay and storytelling. Dialogue writing is consummate and the way Harris and stellan dilivers it becomes just palpable.
HBO's mini series Chernobyl is a complete thriller to watch. I would highly recommend this mini series to anyone who is looking for solid content in every aspect of cinematography.

Oscar winner for one-shot gimmickry of Birdman, director Alejandro González Iñárritu once again hitches his wagon to Virtuoso Leonardo DiCaprio (also got his frist Oscar for Revenant) and the technical brilliance of cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, working wonders with his digital Arri Alexa cameras.

The movie is set in the early 19th century, around a group of American survivors who were ambushed by native Indians after which they had to ran for base camp. Protagonist, Hugh Glass , is attacked by a grizzly bear on ran and is left behind by the crew along with his son and two others. The antagonist, John Fitzgerald (played by Tom Hardy) decides to leave him for dead and also kills his son infornt of his eyes.
The Revenant is captivating story of harsh survival, betrayal, unyielding human spirit, friendship and serene raw nature. The background score by Alejandro just penetrate heart and create dark fume.

Lone Survivor is based upon true failed Operation Red Wings mission in 2005 in which 18 US Navy Seals personal were killed in action. The film delivers a raw but real harsh look inside what happened during those fateful hours. The movie starts with honoring the men and women who serve the US Navy Seals and the ordeals they had to go through to become and a navy seal.
Main Cast of movie inculde Senior Lieutenant Erik (Eric Bana) explaining the main plan for capturing terrorist Ahmed Khan who is hiding in the mountain regions of Northern Afghanistan and Navy SEALS Marcus (Mark Wahlberg), Murphy (Taylor Kitsch), Danny (Emile Hirsch) and Matthew (Ben Foster) are assigned this task. They are dropped off in the forests nearby to the village where Ahmed Khan and his troops are assumed to be present.

I would recommend Lone Survivor in top war movie category of Saving Private Ryan, Black Howk Down etc. With the harsh and real survival story it is a must watch war movie.
