It's not that they don't make it real or that they seem to be in love- these producers pour it on thick and really try to sell us on their love affair-but that this whole affair came about so quickly and for some unknown reason I am just not on board. Lizzie could have had anyone she wanted and the Duke didn't hardly notice her until Nan was out of the picture.
Nobody wants to be 2nd choice, but she hasn't noticed that fact at all. He chose Nan.
Not to mention her close friendship with Nan, no matter what Nan ends up choosing, it's so very wrong what Lizzie has been doing behind her back - all the while having Hector by her side and an approaching wedding. It's not that I don't understand complicated relationships, I'm just not in the Lizzie/Theo camp is all I'm saying... ugh... and a cliffhanger for another week.

Great cast
Great concept
Strong start
But episode 2 was ho hum
Now episode 3 gets worse
It just feels so cliche
There were several ODD moments in this episode that are confusing to the audience. Are they flashbacks? Dreams?
Then there is the pace of the episode and it just feels like it's dragging on and on and you're waiting for the end.
Some user wrote that the acting is awful, but I don't have any issue with the acting. It's believable and on point for me.
My issue is the storyline and directing. Lack of any music.
I don't want to watch a twisted horror show. But I just don't understand the core meaning of this show. Is it a dark comedy? We see the lead laughing as he types his pages for what he hopes becomes a book. That kind of works but things are a bit disjointed right now.
I think I'll hang around and see what the next few episodes bring before I decide if I'm all-in on this show or not.
