Man is this script and film interesting! Unique and stylistic with its concept, cinematography and creative choices. The actor who portrayed the character 'Doyle" gave a strong performance for sure! The lead actor needs some practice, i could tell he stuttered and messed up a bit on some of his lines but I suppose it works with the character good. My least favorite part is the one where he's "trying" to escape through the front door and then Doyle "Makes" him return to him....... I laughed. None of that scenes moments looked real, but then it lead to something that did look real and worked really well, when he goes to the floor and then lifts him up infront of him. Doyle's actor definitely gets up close and personal and makes sure he is giving his all to a performance, and man was he slick and evil! Favorite scene is where he's threatening to hit his momma, and then the shot of him actually doing it from the ground looking up perspective and the swing kinda stop motions. Best I can explain... Check the film out if you ever get the chance to!
A solid little film to quence my thirst for good indie short films. Not the best in the world as the team behind it can definitely improve but I love where they're goibng with this. The demon looked cool and the characters were great, so the script is super solid in that aspect. The sound design was great, as was the camera work. Sound itself was good. As for negatives, the "nooooo" at the end felt a bit cheesy and the dark blue color correction made it harder for me to see things, but I think I get what they were going for with it and thats neat.
Over all pretty solid. Good job crew.
