I understand as this isn't up to the quality of the OG Thomas series, but I don't really mind this show at all. Don't get me wrong, I still love the original Thomas and Friends series. But this reboot is harmless as it is funny. If you want a bad reboot that actually harm braincells, then see Season 3 CatDog, House of Mouse, Baby Looney Tunes, Season 4 ChalkZone, Tak and The Power of Juju 2007, Season 2 Mighty B, Sidekick, Scaredy Squirrel, Be Cool Scooby-Doo and Cloudy W/ A Chance of Meatballs 2017. Compare to those, AEG is a walk in the park.
Speaking of, CN & Boomerang need to replace Be Cool Scooby-Doo w/ this instead. Cause this is actually more of a funny and mildly faithful reboot.

I don't know why people hated actual funny shows from CN like Out of Jimmy's Head, Almost Naked Animals and this. Yet they praised bloated overrated garbage like Baby Looney Tunes, Scaredy Squirrel and Be Cool Scooby-Doo. I think the tables should turn. Years has past and the show was off the air. Time to turn the hatchet in this day in age.
There is so much funny in this show like Orange doing his tongue thing & taunting the locals. Orange is likable and relatable and is an ideal role model. This is one of the rare good shows from CN's dark age.
They should replace Be Cool Scooby-Doo on both CN and Boomerang cause this show is an underrated masterpiece.

Locksmith Studios, the people behind "Ron's Gone Wrong" had created the next Klaus from Netflix.
The characters are likable and have relatable motives to make the audience engaged in each of their respective stories that carried to the titular "That Christmas". I will admit the play at the opening is kind of inappropriate & unneeded. However, when the film moves to the next day, it quickly made up for it.
Of course you have Santa and his reindeer buddy who opens the film telling us the story of "That Christmas". It may have mix reception from critics, but believe me when I say it's a lot better than how it's rated by them.
