This video clip is simply amazing, it captures the whole essence of the song and makes it feel more real.
Dennis Lloyd wrote the song two days after their breakup with his former partner. It's all about being in love in a relationship and how the whole of it is making people blind, not enabling them to see that "not everything is perfect".
I think while the song is really a great track by itself, the music video basically adds a soul to it, as multiple locations and moments are taken from the artist's life.
The best way to put it would be saying, that it makes you feel bittersweet and emotional about a relationship you personally never had. - And that's the whole point of art, giving the audience a chance to feel the same way as the artist.
