If this movie was releases today, it would be considered a comedy. People are howling like wolves for no reason, dialogue is corny and visual effects do not stand the test of time. Premise is kinda cool, but after half of thr movie it just becomes a run and gun film. Also, half of the soundtrack is some kind of sexy sax? Maybe it was cool 40 years ago, but now it feels pretty generic.

Hot take - I would rather watch I, Robot.

This move is like hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy on steroids, which seem impossible. I haven't laughed that hard in a movie for seems like forever. Everyone in the movie was laughing. Half an hour later it becomes a ridiculous drama where I had to hold my tears (and I'm not an emotional person). The effects and filming were also amazing, and this is an indie movie! Please see this film.

Movie is fun, has some great and funny scenes, good soundtrack. However this is no masterpiece as some tend to make it. Film has no depth, characters are one noted, some scenes are very repetitive, draged on and maybe even random - without much connection. In other cases there are big time jumps that are not explained or motivated by anything - audience is just suppose to go with it.

In short, this is a great movie for Lithuanian standards and taking into account when it was released. However, in the whole movie industry context this is just above average.
