Hisashi Kimura's Japanese suspense thriller is a cramped and frightening experience that takes place almost exclusively in a hospital. The film maintains an engrossing mood with its cramped setting, fast pacing, and rising stakes, even though it occasionally falls back on well-known thriller tropes. This film, which is anchored by Kentaro Sakaguchi's gripping performance, keeps viewers interested with twists that successfully strike a disturbing balance between crime mystery and medical drama.
Kenji Katagiri's 2019 film is a moving Japanese drama that depicts the emotional pain of a family collapsing due to addiction and loneliness. The film combines sincere narrative with unvarnished realism as it centers on Saki Tadokoro, who battles to find hope while dealing with her mother's devotion to a new religion and her father's alcoholism. With powerful performances by Honoka Matsumoto and Tamae Ando, it provides an honest examination of generational suffering while continuing to look for resiliency and opportunities for the future. This film is a compelling Japanese film about family, addiction, and survival that will stay with audiences long after the credits have rolled.
This is so funny. I won't compare the humor of this film with the humor in the first film because I haven't seen it. If the word jegel, "Makes you jump on your chairs", actually there might be some very funny scenes. But... Honestly, "that" scene, makes me think. How could Ernest approve of "that" scene? Lwkwkk, it was made to be funny, yes, but when shot the scene must have been really awkward. But I'm sure, this film will surpass the audience, a little different from the first. Amen.
