I'm not Jewish although my family line comes from the 3 "Lands". I choice to watch this show because as I reach my half century. I've trying to educate myself concerning the world. So I've learn to better appreciate my country core lifestyles and "religions". With all that said this series didn't teach me anything. However I only recently discovered Shira Haas from the Captain America 4 movie. She instantly got my attention. I've been watching shows & Films with her in. She's phenomenal incredible actress. Ordinarily I couldn't careless about Grammies, Tonies, Academy etc. But she definitely deserved one for this mini-series. I decided on 8 stars because I had gotten to mad at all the f**cing rules and her husband's family as well as that tall women don't remember her name.

This film isn't worth squat. It's full of inconsistency and hypocrites. Not to mention my biggest pet peeve is flashbacks that especially without warning nor how much time in-between the time jumps. Best example would be CW's Arrow. This guy kidnapps this defenseless lady claims he wouldn't ever hurt her. Nor touch her in anyway that is forceful. Which he doesn't countless times. Than there's the typical D-Bag mentality that because she wears his paid for clothes it's her fault that those guys attacked. At same time he knocks her of the boat saves her and gives the typical rapist response of "I can't lose you". But the thing that ticks me off is he's allowed a good time but she's not. He ties her up on a bed and brings a girl I'm to take care of him. This is exactly what a controlling rapist mentality does only he's allowed. Overall this film is garbage the only parts I like is her giving him a difficult time. The nude/sex scenes are horrendous totally unbelievable not sexy at. This guy is completely a 2 outta 10. Another thing that bothers me he knocks her overboard brings her back on to the boat just like that she's head over heels in deeply love with this scum? He let's her go home after numerous times of asking. Than she's depressed because he's not there? Lady get a hint you sold out. For clothes and alcohol. No self respect doesn't even try to escape once she's in Poland.

I finally got around to this "Blockbuster" This film is completely wasted of time. Not to mention waste of money. Stupid story which actually offends me. It takes a lot to offend me. But destroying USA than combining the country with Canada? I like Canada I've been there but to renamed the states to "Panem" Than because of some uprising led by corporations thanks to the government. The working man uprises. I get the "why" for the uprising. Yet years later when the country comes together again they create "The Hunger Games"? Why? It's pointless film that's concept has been over done from the beginning of film "wealthy vs poor". Is precisely what causes the uprising to begin. The film also under used the great actors like Harrison, Tucci, Bently. All are leagues above the subpar ones like Lawrence yawn 😴 and that little guy opponent. This is the film that made me hate Jennifer Lawrence. It's the one that gave her a huge ego and entitlement. I don't mean to sound harsh or negative. It's just not orginal which I knowledge that mankind hasn't had a orginal idea whether it be music stories etc since caveman times. Maybe the series gets better🤞 but there's two better franchises the "The Maze Runner" as well as "The Divergent"
