Like Salt is a very specific niche narrative that is done so brilliantly by the filmmaker that it feels universal in every aspect. It is a certainly too short for the subject matter but that is a great thing. It keeps you wanting more. It is clear that the director has a very unique style and sensibility and one can see that in ever frame and choice made. The performances are fantastic, unbelieveably touching performance by the lead actors. The cinematography is stellar and the music is on a whole other level of mastery.
