I'm a Miner, I toil through movies looking for gold like this, simple drama, no fuss no bluster just a golden script well acted by seasoned pros's clearly pulling on young talent, making them be themselves as fine young actors. Like Bitcoin, getting harder to find those nuggets. It is the proven 'Hostile to Each Other But Work It All Out' characters who delve into each other and find themselves, a formula that works well here by using nothing more than good acting. Paul is insanely good here Like his UK counterpart Toby Jones, they have no problem in stepping up as the main character and showing how vastly talented they are.
I still get annoyed when we have a production that has a more than strong enough ensemble of British actors but for some reason some producer in Hollywood insists it is lead by an American actor.
Anyway, this is the usual popcorn-munching CGI fest I expected. It's target audience obviously being American youngsters who probably haven't seen or remember Highlander, any of the films in the James Bond/Jason Bourne Franchise or the myriad cliche action movie segments seen numerous times before.
I wonder if Hollywood employs a Lego-like block system where you drag a bunch of cliche segments onto a storyboard and then pump it out to the masses.

You don't need me to describe the plot to this movie, you're either here to see how well-rated this movie is before you watch it or maybe you're here to leave a review!
As mentioned, this is one of the movies I fall back to every now and again, when I have watched one dog of a movie too many and I need some quality entertainment. When I have that need this beauty is there for me. It still has that tangible palpable energy that is simply missing these days in movies. It is mere millimeters away from being so bad yet it oozes quality directors would die for.
I'm convinced John Carpenter (JC)! Sold his soul to the devil and in return was given everything needed to create a beloved masterpiece. He has woven this piece of fiction so completely, from his music to his direction and on to his ability to pull magic from his actors all wrapped up in a gorgeous unique story.
Love it, love it, love it"
