Had to stop watching in the 5th episode. Disgusting characters and despicable behaviour. We know there are people like that in the real world, but putting it on display and enabling bullies to do anything they want to decent respectful people is shocking. Sadly there's no end to Netflix's levels of depravity, creating anything that may appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Somehow they managed to do a second season, and I have a feeling that it was commissioned before they saw to the fruits of the 1st. I couldn't be bother to check what happened in the rest of 1 or if they changed anything in 2. Let's hope it dies there.

I read a positive review in the Guardian and decided to watch it.

Shocked at how shallow and cliché it was, almost from the start. Nothing new, nothing special, all done before and to much better standards.

Towards the middle, it became clear, especially knowing that the writer is playing the main character, it's an exercise in self-indulgent writing and acting. Some scenes are cringe-worthy because of the basic script that's meant to sound deep on occasion, and the amateur acting.

Nothing memorable or redeemable; quickly becomes very predictable. I'm curious to know how this got funding and materialised into a seven-episode drama; but unfortunately fluff sells these days, more than ever.

Terrible job hiring these fluff writers. Sadly all they seem to think it takes to write for this show is to make Frasier as pretentious as possible, throw in some French, Latin (why not) and some exclusive brand names that they probably looked up, googling 'fancy brands'. Worst of all, at one point in this episode, Frasier says, 'It gives Alan and I the opportunity...' like a semi-literate half-wit. It should be 'it gives Alan and ME'. Ironically it was Frasier who corrected Martin in the original series when he made that same mistake. This is not Frasier. This is a low-rate writer's basic vision of what Frasier could be. At least hire people who understand English grammar.
