The Last Rodeo is a powerful blend of stunning visuals, emotional storytelling, and a celebration of family that left me thoroughly impressed.
What truly stood out was how director Jon Avnet nailed the meaning of "family" in his movie! It's a theme that resonates deeply, and Neal McDonough drove it home with his heartfelt message after the movie-his sincerity made it feel personal and authentic. The rodeo scenes were another highlight, absolutely incredible with their mix of slow-motion and body-cam shots. The adrenaline was palpable.
Moreover, Sarah Jones delivered a beautiful performance as Neal McDonough's daughter, capturing the complexity of her resentment and love with such grace. Her portrayal added a layer of emotional depth that made their reconciliation all the more moving.
Absolutely a must watch with family and loved ones!

ABSOLUTELY worth watching!
Sew Torn is an intelligent, masterfully crafted film that combines the best of both worlds-a high-quality action/thriller with the spirit and class of a true indie gem.
I first saw the short film that led to the feature and was blown away by the beautifully developed story. This movie keeps its audience guessing until the very end while providing just enough revelations to leave you satisfied. I've been searching for an original movie that keeps both the story and characters at its core for a long time, and I'm thrilled to have found that in Sew Torn.
Freddy Macdonald's exceptional direction shines through the performances and the precision of every meticulously crafted frame. Each shot feels like a work of art, uniquely painted and indispensable. It's rare in today's fast-paced, and often "cookie-cutter", movie industry to see such attention to detail.
Sew Torn is a breath of fresh air-engaging, thought-provoking, and immensely entertaining. The question, "What path would you choose?" has lingered with me ever since watching.
I wholeheartedly recommend this film to fans of thrillers, mysteries, action, and indie cinema. And if you love Coen Brothers movies? Sew Torn is a must-watch!
