At first I was really enjoying this series about the people behind the development of the atom bomb. By the end of the first season, I had come to realize that the show really was not about the Manhattan project. This series uses the history of the Manhattan project as a stage, were racism, sexism, and other pet issues of liberal idioalogs can be whipped and exploited for perverse purposes. It is also the scenery, or backdrop, where perverse degeneracy can be introduced as normal behavior. A stage on which normalcy, morality, traditionally normal behavior, can be questioned, and dismissed by genius characters.
