What have they done? This is the worst of the Alien franchise, it's actually a disgrace. I would seriously describe it as a child's introduction to Alien. The attempt to copy detail and dialogue from the original Alien/Aliens is cringeworthy. The fact there were no adults involved made it obvious that the whole scare factor had been dumbed down, an Immature script for an immature audience. The Directors should be ashamed to have their names associated with this movie. The Alien franchise should finish with immediate effect if this is the kind of drivel they are going to produce in the future. Watch it, just to see how laughable it is. RIP Alien.
This is a great show, every episode having its own case to solve with the overriding storyline simmering in the background.
For those criticising the crime aspect of the show, it's a comedy. If you want proper crime watch Endeavour or the like.
This is a ridiculous story line, but it's not the point, it's an easy going comedy crime drama that does not take itself too seriously.
I also applaud the casting, every character perfectly placed whether a regular or guest appearance.
More shows like this please, well written, well directed and well acted.
This show is like a good book, once picked up it's hard to put down.

After all the hype, is it really unsurprising that the BBC fail again. This is poor, really poor. It's actually true that a train can be controlled remotely, but this is about as good as it gets. The storyline is bad, but when accompanied by terrible acting the show is literally a train crash.
The opening to the show is supposed to have you gripped, this certainly doesn't, you will find yourself saying "that wouldn't happen" and "if you can't hear (because of a noisy hen party) move to a quieter carriage"!!
Another missed trick, could have been good, but falls well below the hype that the BBC bestowed upon it.
