To Each His Own Cinema (2007) is an anthology movie written and directed by a lot of filmmakers and it stars a lot of people. This movie was a first time watch for me and it was very average.
Positives for To Each His Own Cinema (2007): I really enjoyed watching this collection of short films by various directors. I like the different styles from these filmmakers and it was cool to see what they like to do with their movies. My favorite short film is the one from the Coen Brothers. And finally, I can see this anthology movie getting movie fans interested in watching other movies made by these different filmmakers.
Negatives for To Each His Own Cinema (2007): There are too many short films for me to watch and it felt overstuffed. This is one of those anthology movies where you can feel the tone shift the most. And finally, I had an extremely hard time trying to find these short films on YouTube as I had to do a lot of searching and it was a pain in the ass for me.
Overall, To Each His Own Cinema (2007) is an okay enough anthology movie that I can appreciate as a film fan, but I wouldn't be in a rush to rewatching these short films anytime soon.

Paris, Je T'anime (2006) is a romantic anthology movie written and directed by a lot of people and it stars a lot of people. This movie tells a variety of stories in Paris and it was very average.
Positives for Paris, Je T'anime (2006): I like a good anthology movie where you have an ensemble cast of actors in various stories where you see these people falling in love in Paris. The acting from the ensemble cast is good. The pacing of this movie is good with the various stories being told to us. And finally, this movie would definitely make for a good date night for couples to enjoy.
Negatives for Paris, Je T'anime (2006): I barely understood what some of the actors were saying as most of the cast speak French. I also didn't really care for the various romantic stories as they weren't interesting enough for me to enjoy and I do like a good romance movie. And finally, the various tones in these stories was so jarring that I completely lost track of what was going on.
Overall, Paris, Je T'anime (2006) is an okay romantic anthology movie that I can see couples enjoying more than me and I'm happy for them.

The Ladykillers (2004) is a black comedy crime thriller movie co-written and co-directed by the Coen Brothers and is based on the 1955 British movie of the same name. This movie tells the story of the original and it was very average at best.
Positives for The Ladykillers (2004): I like the story of this movie amd that is because it is like the original. The acting from Tom Hanks, Irma P. Hall, Marlon Wayans, J. K. Simmons, Tzi Ma and Ryan Hurst is great. I like how the criminals are tricking the old lady that they're musicians and yet she is able to pick up on their crap. There is some good black comedy that got a good smile from me. And finally, the ending with the criminals killing each other accidentally is decent enough.
Negatives for The Ladykillers (2004): This movie is literally the same as the original and it plays out the exact same way. If you've seen the original, then you have seen this story done better in that movie. Because this movie does everything the same, nothing is as impactful as it was in the original. And finally, this movie lacks the magic that was present in the Coen Brothers' previous movies.
Overall, The Ladykillers (2004) is an okay enough remake to the 1955 instant classic and is easily the weakest movie from the Coen Brothers, but I don't hate it and I'm perfectly okay with that.
