Under the Bed (2012) is a horror movie directed by Steven C. Miller and it tells the story of a group of characters moving to a house that is haunted. This movie was a first time watch for me and it was just like every other haunted house horror movie.
Positives for Under the Bed (2012): The house that is home to the demonic entities is creepy enough. Jonny Weston, Gattlin Griffith, Peter Holden and Musetta Vander all do an okay job with their acting. The special effects for these entities are acceptable enough for the low budget. And finally, the movie has some fine jumpscares.
Negatives for Under the Bed (2012): This movie is literally every haunted house horror movie you've seen before this one. The plot is very predictable and you know exactly what is going to happen. The characters are blank sheets of paper that take the form of people. The demonic entities in the house are very generic looking. And finally, there are scenes where you can't tell what is going on because the lighting is really terrible.
Overall, Under the Bed (2012) is the type of generic horror movie that is best used as background noise for other activities and that is perfectly fine by me and you can watch it on Tubi right now.

The Aggression Scale (2012) is an action thriller movie directed by Steven C. Miller. This movie was a first time watch for me and it was just okay.
Positives for The Aggression Scale (2012): I like the simplicity of the plot and it gets the job done. The cast does a fine job including Ray Wise, Dana Ashbrook, Derek Mears, Fabianne Therese, Ryan Hartwig and Jacob Reynolds. There are some decent moments of tension that are effective. You get some fun shootouts that are decently bloody. And finally, I would be able to turn my brain off just so that I can enjoy this movie.
Negatives for The Aggression Scale (2012): This movie is extremely low budget and you can see all of the limitations. There is some acting that is rough to watch. You have one character who is constantly screaming their heads off and while I understand why they're screaming, but they needed to cut it off. And finally, there are some uses of CGI blood during some of the shootouts and killing.
Overall, The Aggression Scale (2012) is an okay enough low budget action thriller movie with things I like, but I won't be in a hurry to rewatching it.

Scream of the Banshee (2011) is a monster horror movie that aired on the Syfy Channel and it was directed by Steven C. Miller. This movie was a first time watch for me and it was pretty mediocre.
Positives for Scream of the Banshee (2011): The Banshee looks pretty okay for the budget the filmmakers has to work with. The acting is okay enough to where the actors have their moments. There is some mildy good gore effects. And finally, the movie moves at a good enough pace.
Negatives for Scream of the Banshee (2011): This movie is limited its small budget, then again Syfy Channel tends to it that with their movies. The movie barely has a story and the one it does have is really boring. And finally, there are an annoying amount of jumpscares in the movie.
