If the Brutalist wins best picture, it will be my least fav winner since Crash.

The best part of that film was the sandwich I snuck on to eat at Intermission. It had ham and Swiss cheese with just the right amount of mustard on a nice soft sourdough. I paired it with a cowboy cookie (my first) - oatmeal with chocolate chips.

I guess if you want toknow about the Brutalist... Just imagine a writer creating an Oscar Bait stew. The plot had every elements you'd want to bait a nomination - drugs, sexual assault and grape, immigrant experience, religious persecution, class clashes, American dream, artistic vision, and gender inequality.

All that was missing was a Nazi.

Do yourself a favor and skip the film and go to the deli.

  • So funny. Very unexpected.

Who would have thought the funniest movie of the season would be a vh1 original. So well written. Loved it and could not stop laughing!!

Big fan of Xosha R... Glad to see her getting more work.
