I mean my god, with all the poorly written dialogue, world-building, forgettable soundtrack, modern references and obnoxious comedy, I can't remember what the hell I just witnessed.
This movie is so bizarre in its existence. How can anyone greenlight this? How can anyone sign onto it? How can it get all these big name stars in such a stupid abomination.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Sony Smurf movies are much, much better. THIS... I don't know what this is and honestly, I don't care either.
It's a strange movie with wasted talents and the less I can remember it, the better.
I can't think of one good thing that this movie did.

You like ABBA, you want their songs be sung in a feature film, then this movie gives you exactly that!

I will also add that Amanda Seyfried is the best singer of the movie in my opinion.

I don't mind watching jukebox musicals, and honestly, there's no need to go and watch this movie, but it is also harmless, if you do consider checking this out.
It knows what it wants to be and does exactly that. Nothing more.
Pros:
- Solid acting
- Great singing (obviously)
- Beautiful scenery

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends has had such an insane history that one would have to put in actual effort to not only make it look bad, but have it become one of the most hated things in the entertainment industry. All Engines Go managed to find a way.
I see no redeeming quality in this crime against humanity. Not even Neil Crone as Gordon can do anything.
The show isn't going to improve at this point and once this show officially ends, I think the people at Mattel should just give up and stop before things get even worse.
All I can say is stay as far away from this...thing as you possibly can!
