Most of the reviews regard how irritating the movie was. Indeed it was. It is very frustating to see the bad character getting away with stuff. However, for that reason particularly, the movie is down-to-earth and depicts a more real aspect of life. Bad people win too, you know. The acting is great, the direction also. The storyline is unique, nothing like what you have seen before and very realistic, something that could potentially happen. With only 2 exceptions that were a bit off, like the somehow unbelievable power to break a windscreen especially while underwater, the movie is trully different and I liked that the protagonist was a dynamic woman who is not subject to the 'male gaze' at last. Maybe that's why so many reviewers here got angry? I don't see the logic to give less than 5 stars only because of the 2 exceptions I mentioned before. Is it because there's no aparent vindication? Well, in the movie Seven (1995) there's no vindication too, the bad guy wins. Yet the movie somehow has 8,6 stars on IMDb. What can I say. The movie deserves at least 6 stars even from the most meticulous reviewers. It's an 8 from me, only because of the 2 scenes that I found weird. I was thinking of giving it a 10 only to balance out the ridiculous 1 star reviews but ultimately, I don't want to be exaggerating like they do. If you are thinking of watching it, great! You chose a movie with a unique plot and I bet you will enjoy it if you are realistic enough to not think that life in our world is fair.

It got in my best of the worst movies list. The only reason I can find for someone to willingly watch it after having the 3,7 stars rating on mind, would be clearly for satiric reasons.

I don't get the people giving lower than a 7-star rating and nagging about plot holes and the ending.

It's a movie that requires a lot of thought since EVERYTHING represents something. I even saw one review that said "how did they know that the platform is not reaching the ceiling at the top floor -it could kill them-" Well, OF COURSE the platform cant bang on the ceiling since someone has to place the buffet there. What's the point of a platform banging on the freaking ceiling?! After that, it s a REPRESENTATION. You can't interpret this movie literally. Everything is an Allegory! Please, read some reviews here that have the interpretation of every character and scene. You will immediately think.. wow! It will be really helpful.

I wish it was a serie that I could watch everyday. Really interesting movie, definitely recommending it!
