I'm so happy this season ended on a high note. And to think that a couple months ago i wasn't even planning on watching this as I thought it was just going to be a cashgrab, them milking the story of Dexter for another spinoff. But this was a true redemption, New Blood was good but Resurrection is on another level. Different than the original series but at the same time so similar to the earlier seasons. The suspense, the tension, the drama, the unpredictability...

I can confidently say that I can't wait for season 2, and I haven't been this excited for the next season of a series since Daredevil: Born Again, and I'm just now realizing the similarity between these 2 series. "Born Again" and "Resurrection". Both wonderful comebacks that deserve to get a proper run.

You don't often come across a series that is actually perfect, like not a single flaw you can point out, you can't even nitpick about. But Dexter Resurrection is definitely one of those shows. I haven't been so excited and anticipating for weekly episodes like this, since maybe Succession and even with Succession I didn't feel it as much as I do now. Only a handful of episodes left and I have faith in these writers, I really really want the ending of this show to live up to the expectations. To think that this is a series I wasn't even planning on watching cause it seemed like just a 3rd spinoff, them trying to milk Dexter, but I couldn't be more wrong. I really enjoyed New Blood, even the finale which people didn't like apparently. But Resurrection is on another level.
