Even better than Bones (inside joke when you watch this series)

If you were caught up in the life transformation of Breaking Bad, the humorous banter and chemistry of Bones, the puzzle solving investigation of CSI and even a wide variety of music, LUCIFER is your next must-see!

Ok, Tom Ellis is a star in every sense of the word: acting, comedic timing, singing skills and expressions which completely engage you in the experience of who Lucifer is.

Lauren German is so beautiful, she is easily believable as an actress turned detective and DB Woodside is everything you want an angel to be: unbeatable, kind, loving, strong and just, all in a stunning body and fabulous voice.

Although one could categorize the other actors as "supporting cast," no one can say any of them don't hold their own spotlight! Lesley-Ann Brandt, Rachael Harris set the stage so it is all believable and the show wouldn't work as perfectly without their amazing performances... And I was amazed often!

I don't want to give too much away, the story is delightfully transformative when you put aside the idea that "the devil is evil" and accept that Lucifer is the Light Bringer: overseeing human souls punishing themselves with their own crimes against what they know is right, the choices that tarnish our souls are our own.

Witnessing Lucifer's journey to embracing his true nature & purpose can inspire your own inquiry: What do you truly desire? And without making choices that will cause you guilt and pain and separation from people who would otherwise love you, what can you do today to make that desire yours?

Lucifer is a powerful story of growth and evolution, forgiving oneself and allowing that self to be loved for who you truly are.

Oh, and the series ends with My Chemical Romance's Black Parade, couldn't be more perfect!!

  • Profound and Moving

I had this playing in my earbuds while at work and now I'm sitting her with tears streaming down my face.

I didn't know that was Brendan Fraser because the character he lives is so compelling. Bravo to the cast, the crew, the lighting, the effects... the actors are so real and the tragedy and hope throughout this film is palpable.

Any description can only touch the surface and there is so much more to this story than the surface! The writer, Samuel D Hunter gave us a peek into the human soul.

Director Darren Aronofsky highlights the characters beautifully, although the lighting is often dark and shadowed (could be my phone), the mood evoked brings the theme home: things don't matter, people do: connections do, LOVE is what matters.

The ending is the most beautiful thing I've seen since What Dreams May Come and that is why I am crying in my desk at work, moved completely by this profound collaboration and epic work of Art.

Thank you all for creating and sharing this... that is kind of the message, too.
