Who would have ever thought that Joel Shumacher could pull it off? After a disaster like Batman & Robin, it was hard to believe that Shumacher would put together something this beautiful ever again. But I guess if you have Andrew Lloyd Webber as your executive producer, you'd better make it good. And, believe me, it's GOOD! Andrew Lloyed Webber, Joel Shumacher, Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, Minnie Driver and the rest of the cast and crew of this wonderful film have taken Gaston Leroux's classic story and turned it into one of the greatest feats in cinema history - a successful 21st century musical that puts Rob Marshall's "Chicago" to shame! "Phantom" feels real...so real that you'll forget that you're sitting in a dark theater, and your imagination will carry you deep into the cellars of the Paris Opera House.
It's like a dream made into reality! It's an intoxicating mixture of mystery, romance, horror, drama and humor. And if you don't know what cinematography is now, then by God you'll know by the end of this movie! The lighting is stunning, as are the set designs, costumes and make-up. Yes, the actors REALLY sing their parts. And, yes, they do a decent enough job not to make a Phanatic cringe. Joel Shumacher's and Anrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" is an utter delight, one that will leave you believing that the Opera Ghost really does exist! I highly recommend it!

Die Another Day is the best James Bond film since the critically acclaimed hit GoldenEye, Pierce Brosnan's first Bond movie. Now, in his fourth Bond film, Brosnan makes his most stunning appearance as Bond.
It all begins when James Bond surfs into North Korea and conveniently kills a general's son, leading to torture and imprisonment in a concentration camp. After 14 months of betrayal by the British, Bond escapes and goes back to work as 007, in route of the evil diamond guru who seeks to control the world - Gustav Graves.
But that's not all. Bond teams up with American agent Jinx, played beautifully by Oscar-winner Halle Berry. They begin to mix business with pleasure while in pursuit of Graves. Meanwhile, Jinx and Bond are also seeking to destroy the wounded North Korean terrorist Zao.
In celebration of Die Another Day being the 20th film in the Bond franchise, it is full of references to previous Bond films. However, I will leave the recognition of those special references up to you, as not to spoil the movie.
Also, this film is brimming with dozens of sexual pun-lines that are sure to keep you laughing every few minutes!
Overall, Die Another Day is an excellent movie - one of the best I've seen all year. It's packed with clever gadgets, cool cars, steamy love scenes and adrenaline-pumping action sequences. Die Another Day also reveals a side of Bond that is rarely shown - Bond has both physical AND emotional scars as the result of his lock-up and betrayal. It reveals the human side of Bond, his hurt and his triumph in the end. This one is sure to go down in history as one of the best Bond movies ever made. GO SEE IT!!!

"Hook" is one of Steven Spielberg's greatest film's...a cleverly written and directed movie that will make a Peter Pan fan out of anyone!
Peter Banning, a cut-throat merger and lawyer, flies to London, England to visit his Granny Wendy and discovers that he is really Peter Pan! After his children are kidnapped, Peter has to go to Neverland and deliver them from the clutches of Captain Hook with the help of Tinker Bell and the Lost Boys.
If you think "Hook" is simply a children's movie, think again! My grandmother loved this movie and got me into it at first, and my dad became hooked on it after that! This film is also very popular among my friends (in high school and college).
"Hook" is a magical fantasy film that will leave you in awe. Just take the first star to the right and straight on 'til morning, until you reach the adventure of a lifetime!
