Although, in reality Priest was sentences for 6 years and parents where pardon after jury found them guilty stating that they already suffered much. In movie, they show nothing about parents but Priest is pardon after jury found them guilty for no reason. I'll say, they just protected the Christian religion's face by portraying that things happened were completely of spiritual and paranormal nature and other was no medical science involved. Although, the movie is really nice but could have been better with lost other horror scenes like Exorcist. The movie Exorcist is based on this story it is far better than this one.
I was expecting something like Interstellar, but not 15 minutes of Quantum Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, or any sort of Physics throughout the entire 180 minutes of the film. Instead, there were lots of internal politics and spying investigations of the US Government at that time. As I am not North American, I couldn't relate to all these backstories regarding what went wrong with Oppenheimer back then. I will surely accept that it was my mistake not to check the genre of the movie. Apart from that, I didn't like the usage of the Sri Bhagavad Gita in the movie. They could have shown him reading it in the lab or something. Also, when Jean Tatlock asks him 2nd time to speak Sanskrit script, again Murphy just translated it.
It is not an entertainment movie but a real story which we heard and read during our growing years. The biggest proof are the Kashmiri Pandit families which are living victim with no media and no political support until today. I salute Vivek Agnihotri for having guts to research and present the movie without any adulteration. Every Bharatiya must watch this movie in theater and help directors like Vivek Agnihotri to make more such moves like this. For those who don't know same director created The Tashkent Files.
