If you're looking for a good sitcom for laughs, The Office would be my recommended one! The best part of the sitcom is how it lacks the one thing that annoys most viewers: fake laugh tracks!!
I never read the Archie Comics, but the show made me want to cry!! Season 1 was an intriguing mystery, but the episodes in later seasons got worse!! Also, the parents of the protagonists in Riverdale suck because they are horrible decision makers and toxic influences on adults (Fred and Mary Andrews being the only caveats).
Character Descriptions of the Riverdale Parents:
- Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) = a cruel dictator who lacks empathy for his daughter, which is proven by his narcissistic leadership tactics; he doesn't forgive the protagonists just because they did something good to protect others and his punishments are extremely draconian, or strict
- Alice Cooper (Madchen Amick) = authoritative and domineering
- Hal Cooper (Lochlyn Munro) = bossy and hostile
- Clifford Blossom (Barclay Hope) = impulsive and the exact opposite of a thoughtful and caring parent
- Penelope Blossom (Nathalie Boltt) = emotionally abusive
- Sierra McCoy (Robin Givens) = overbearing
- Myles McCoy (Reese Alexander) = cocky and merciless
- FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich) = leader of the Southside Serpents gang
One of the best Nickelodeon sitcoms that is not only family friendly, but also worth the binge!! It doesn't matter if the laugh track plays; you can learn to ignore the laugh track because the laugh track is not as loud as the modern, forgotten sitcoms such as Austin and Ally, where the laugh tracks are too loud!! Furthermore, Drake Bell and Josh Peck are definitely positive influences on society today!!
