James Nesbit is terrible in this series! His character as a deranged detective drags on way too long! In the real world he would have been fired by the department a long long time ago, let alone his melt down in the autopsy room with the medical examiner! He definitely needs psychiatric care and support if not bring locked ip in a straitjacket!

The show is slow and drags on and on with him becoming more deranged by the minute. I love BritBox original English police shows , but thus is one they should have never made! They should have cast it differently with someone other than James Nesbit!

I hope they don't make a season two because it would be a waste of their money!

This series is filmed very dark, making it very hard to see anything or what is occurring! I understand that the director was probably simulating the actual candle lighting of the time! However this ruins the series by making the screen images so dark that you can't see the action that is occurring!

What was the point of the "SCREAMING FARMER"????? He is extremely annoying and it adds absolutely nothing to the scripts! Who ever thought this was a good idea was definitely wrong!
